    Hi there,

    When I change the Trigger Vibration intensity on my Elite Controller through the Accessories App. This does not transfer into Halo 5. Even with Trigger Vibration set to 0 in the Accessories App, the triggers still vibrate at 100% in the Halo 5 game. Setting
    it to 10 or 20% percent also still has the triggers vibrate at 100% in the game. The Vibration Setting in the Accessories App seems to have NO EFFECT whatsoever in Halo 5.

    Is it a bug? Many thanks in advance to any information regarding this issue.

    What controller are you using? Usually you should be able to switch of vibration/change settings within the game itself.

    You can change the settings only on an Xbox by following the instructions here- Change controller vibration on Xbox One

    If you own an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, you can disable vibrations on a per-controller per-profile basis through the Xbox Accessories app on Windows 10 or Xbox One.

    I have Microsoft TF500004 Xbox One Wireless Controller White I have updated it through Xbox Accessories app as you recommended now I am will check if it is ok after update but still like to know if I can switch off the vibration for this controller ?

    Turns out it's in other games aswell. The Vibration Setting for the triggers of the Elite controller does not work properly. When I close and exit the Accessories App or even when I uninstall and reinstall the Accessories App alltogether. When the App reads
    the current setup from the controller. It says trigger vibration is at 100%. Even though just before this I loaded a configuration into the controller with trigger vibration set to 0 or 20.

    Sometimes it takes a few views at the trigger vibration setting to see that it still really is set to maximum. At first they show the setting correctly. But without changing anything, just going back one menu and then back into the vibration settings. And
    they magically changed back to 100%.

    In games the triggers just vibrate at 100%. Regardless of anything I upload to the controller.

    Can confirm that every time the Accessories App is fully closed (quit app) and then restarted, the bars for trigger vibration are reset back to 100% the SECOND TIME you view the vibration settings in the menu. The first time viewing the vibration settings
    it shows them correct as supposedly uploaded to the controller prior to quitting and restarting the app. Go back one menu and then back into vibration settings... And the bars are back to 100%.

    Even when the app is not closed and in the app the settings remain correct. There is no effect of the setting in the games I've tried. In games triggers vibrate at 100% all the time, no matter what I try with the Accessories App.

    Just received the NXOE this morning. The new style Accessories App does NOT have the same problem as the 'old' one. Now trigger vibration settings are maintained even after quitting and restarting the app and no matter how many times I exit and re-enter
    the vibration menu. The overal layout of the app is also much improved. Very nice!

    It also feels as though maximum setting for the trigger vibration is less powerful than before. While on the other hand the rumble motors in the handles now seem to run a little faster than before on maximum setting. A good improvement because the triggers
    vibrated way too hard (whole controller resonating) before the update, while the handles felt a litte underpowered before.

    Looking forward to feeling what the improvements will do in games. Further testing tonight Elite Controller Trigger Vibration Setting in Accessories App NOT affecting gameplay in Halo 5 :)

    Took a few days before I had a chance to test the settings in a game. But can indeed confirm that the settings for trigger vibration are now maintained and correctly applied in Halo 5. Great Elite Controller Trigger Vibration Setting in Accessories App NOT affecting gameplay in Halo 5 :)

    Thanks, although the video is from more than a year ago - around the time of release of the controller. Also, the Accessories App updated to the latest version when I first plugged in the Elite Controller. I only see the presets, with no function to customize
    curves from scratch.
    If you are referring to the Trigger sensitivity, you can can customize the sensitivity of your triggers by adjusting their maximum and minimum ranges.

    To customize the triggers, you can use the hair-trigger mechanical switch on your controller or with the Trigger sensitivity section in the app.

    Depending on the game you play, these settings will have different responses. One way to test your settings is to set Slot 1 to
    Default and Slot 2 to your customized setting.
