Hi this is a repost still no response from microsoft staff I'm unable to swap trigger functions on elite controller Other people are also unable to doit is this being addressed

But I am still having an issue swapping the triggers with the elite controller. I just downloaded the app an hour ago, so it should be the latest version.

I contacted Microsoft via chat and they are aware of the problem and will be pushing an update soon

 

I'm having the exact same problem, also talked to support about it yesterday and posted a forum question.

This issue should be resolved now. Have you tried updating the app? If you're still having issues please try removing the app from your console, power cycle (hold power button down for 10 seconds), and then re-download the app.

Sorry about the confusion, I had misunderstood this thread and thought this was in reference to the mislabeling of the triggers in the Accessory App. If you create a new configuration and visit Sticks, triggers & vibration there is a check box with the
option to "swap triggers".

Go ahead and select that and let us know how it goes!

 

According to the app release date it was release 10/20/1015. That's the reinstall option on xbone. I removed , cycled power as suggested above , reinstalled the app, still have the same problem This issue is not resolved. The controller firmware is current
and I reinstalled the app, exactly how did you think you resolved the problem

 

I see a swap thumbstick option but not a swap trigger

 

I tried it on the PC windows 10 and in red it says "the right trigger can't be mapped to the left trigger" in the button mapping

Super big apology from me, I ended up mixing up information a second time. I ended up double checking this after realizing I was testing through a console enrolled in the Xbox Preview. The ability to swap triggers isn't available quite yet, but it does appear
to be coming in a future release. Keep an eye out for it!

Really appreciate your patience with this, I understand any frustration with mixed messaging on my part.

 

Trigger Swapping should be available in the Xbox Accessories App that is found in the Windows Store (updated yesterday) and in the NXOE.

It is not available for non-NXOE Xbox One consoles.

 

Does that mean I have to wait until the 12th, you're referring to the New Xbox One Experience. I have been unable to find a way to upgrade that , I'm assuming it's invite only at the moment. If it's coming on the 12th that's fine , I'm patient as long as
it's going to resolve. Thank you for your help and I appreciate your feedback

 

just used the windows 10 app. seems like that solves the issue. havent played with the cotroller yet, but the app shows them as swapped.

 

Unless you have a Windows 10 PC that you can install the Xbox Accessories app on or are a member of the NXOE Public Preview, yes, you will have to wait until the public release of the NXOE to get Trigger Swapping functionality.
