Elite Controller trigger setup

    Elite Controller trigger setup


    I think I'm seeing a bug in the accessories app.

    I currently have 2 setups. One called "Overwatch" and one called "General". on Overwatch I have setup up the triggers to 0-5 for left and right and it works fine. I then go to General, and the triggers are also set up to 0-5, and it also says "Overwatch"
    in the top left.

    I tried deleting the profiles and starting again, but whatever I do, there only seems to be one option for trigger setup, and editing any other profile triggers will take me to the trigger page with the wrong title.

    Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug? Anyone else had the same problem? Googled it and can't find anyone else mentioning it.

    The xbox elite controller has a cross trigger as well

    Responding to this in case anyone else has the same problem in future.

    After talking with support on Twitter, we established that the trigger settings were saving for each profile, but there's a bug which makes it difficult to see what is going on.

    For example, if I made a Config1, and a Config2, and set up custom trigger settings for Config 1, then editing Config2 triggers would show the settings for Config1, including the Config1 name in the top left of the screen. Even if I delete Config1, then
    the Config1 name and settings still appear on the Config2 trigger screen.

    So in summary, it is a display bug which makes it unclear as to whether or not each profile has saved trigger settings correctly.

    You can't remap the triggers with standard controllers, just with Xbox Elite controllers.

    Elite Controller Trigger Vibration Setting in Accessories App NOT affecting gameplay in Halo 5

    Turns out it's in other games aswell. The Vibration Setting for the triggers of the Elite controller does not work properly. When I close and exit the Accessories App or even when I uninstall and reinstall the Accessories App alltogether. When the App reads
    the current setup from the controller. It says trigger vibration is at 100%. Even though just before this I loaded a configuration into the controller with trigger vibration set to 0 or 20.

    Sometimes it takes a few views at the trigger vibration setting to see that it still really is set to maximum. At first they show the setting correctly. But without changing anything, just going back one menu and then back into the vibration settings. And
    they magically changed back to 100%.

    In games the triggers just vibrate at 100%. Regardless of anything I upload to the controller.
