    Elite Controller Syncing


    I've had an Elite controller since release and not been disappointed, however due to a bit of clumsiness and me dropping it, the button on the top of the controller has jammed into the chassis rendering it useless (don't ask how), I have tried to pry it
    out with a multitude of tools, but no luck. I need to re-sync it to my console but unable to do so, if there another way of getting it too sync so I am able to use it? The controller I only want to use wireless as I passed on my micro USB cable to a friend.
    Just curious if there is anything I can do before I send it off to get it repaired.

    November Update broke Elite Controller/Console Sync/Power On

    Add me to this list, $500 elite purchased 2 days ago and controller isnt syncing.

    XBOX ONE ELITE Controller - Not Syncing - Not Connecting

    Brand New 1 day old Elite Xbox One - Controller will not sync.

    Elite controller is updated, it received the latest update.

    Xbox One Elite console received the new update.

    Replaced batteries (Used 8 sets of batteries, Duracells and Energizers)

    Plugged in USB - Works when plugged in, unplug after a few minutes and light just flashes indefinitely and will not sync.

    Tried syncing via sync button on console and controller.

    Power Cycled Console numerous times.

    Unplugged console numerous times.

    FACTORY RESET the Elite Console 5 times.....

    So far this is a total disappointment so far! $500 console and the *** controller won't sync!

    Hey Dol -

    Have you tried connecting your Xbox Elite controller to your Xbox One console via USB to force a sync? If that doesn't work, it sounds like getting your Elite controller repaired will be next option. Here is information on

    Hey!

    Thanks for getting back to me! Forcing a sync with a USB that I found lying around worked great and made it sync so I can use it wireless again! I will more than likely send it in for a service anyway just to make it usable for the foreseeable future!

    November Update broke Elite Controller/Console Sync/Power On

    Having the Exact same problem. Can even sync the elite controller to the old console with no issue. Seems to be the elite controller/console combo having the issue. Full power down did allow it to resync.

    Will follow up if the issue recurs.
