Elite controller software problem, diagonal movement

    Elite controller software problem, diagonal movement


    Ive come across what i class as a big problem with the 'software' in the controller

    I set up my right stick from default movement to delay for fine sniping in my tank on just cause 3, the problem is when i got to move my turret say down and left it moves extremely slowly, even when stick is moved as far as it will go,

    so i went into the setting and realized the stick doesn't reach max movement when set on delay, its only reach 2/3rds of the movement,

    Yea i get it that even on default it only gets to 90% ish of movement, but at least this will still move the turret at normal speeds

    I used to have this problem years ago but though they had got over it when moving the sticks in the diagonal directions ?

    Pro Evolution Soccer with XBOX One PC Controller

    Hi Everybody,

    I'm planning to buy an XBOX One controller for PC and as I always play with the D-Pad I'm afraid that this controller will not support diagonal players movements in pro evolution soccer as I can see that the design is a 4 direction design. Is that correct
    or the controller supports diagonal movements?

    Elite Controller issue

    My track ball attached to my right stick is moving up/down easily and causing slow diagonal movement. The controller is 5 months old. This is ridiculous!

    Xbox One Elite Controller Thumbstick Sensitivity Parameters

    Slow Start has an issue when looking diagonally. It will stay at slow movement the entire time when the joystick is pressed diagonally instead of speeding up when the joystick is all the way to the edge.

    Disappointed in this feature so far. We were told we would have complete control over the movement curve, not only have 3 preset settings.

    Thanks for taking the time to ask this question here on the forums. Regarding the thumbsticks on the new Xbox Elite controller series 2, the calculations refer to actions that can be taken by the thumbsticks themselves, so it essentially the following (pardon
    for the loose translations):

    • Radial - based on radius of full or half-circle movements made by the thumbstick,
    • Independent axis - based on the X or Y axis (up/down, L to R movement)
    • True Diagonals - would mean true 90deg diagonals based on the X/Y axis

    For further information regarding any settings on this particular controller, I'd recommend checking out the following support articles that can detail what can be done more explicitly:

    Adjust the thumbsticks on your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2


    Use the Xbox Accessories app to customize your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2

    Slow start sensitivity issue

    Same issue with mine. Diagonal movement is slow throughout the entire direction. It never speeds up.
