    Elite Controller series 2 Drift and random disconnect


    I bought an Xbox one Elite series 2 controller back in February, and I'd say after about using it for a week or two, the controller started randomly disconnecting in the middle of me playing a game. After a while, the left analog stick started drifting
    on its own randomly, up and down and at times I can't center it and it's getting really annoying. Has anyone experienced this or know of a fix, or if Microsoft is aware of this and are working on a fix. It's a pretty expensive controller, so I do hope they
    come up with something because I have searched all over the internet for a fix and found nothing. Any help will be much appreciated.

    Elite controller stick drift

    The problem is not just the on elite 2 controllers its a issue with all controllers that use the PDP program because i have 3 afterglow controllers that have problems with joy stick drift i also have 2 power A controllers that have problems with joy stick
    drift as well and my brother has an elite 2 series controller that also has the same problem

    Ive gotten 2 elite series 2 controllers from amazon and both had stick drift out of the box. The second was even worse than the first. Amazon wouldn’t send me a 3rd and just refunded me.

    Ive been having the same issues with the new controllers that use Bluetooth to connect. I notice more issues when im running/connecting multiple bluetooth devices. But overall the disconnecting happens at random times. Ive just got into the habit of plunging
    the controller in whenever i play online multiplayer games. This has happened with the series 1 and 2 elites and the newer generic controllers.
