Elite controller series 1 malfunction

I was playing and noticed my controller got the right trigger stuck and that nothing fixed it so I went to bed. Then the next day I decided to get back on and then the batteries wouldn't power it on and I used a charger cord and it worked but then the controllers
dpad area got really hot and then both triggers quit working and now I cannot play anything.

Anyone have a solution.

I would say yes. A lot of elite controllers (series 1 and 2) have several manifacturing problems, the most common are RB/LB malfunctioning and sticks.

If i buy an elite controller series 2 and its malfunctioning i'm going back to the store where i buy it. And i wil get a new one.

Like I said before, I've used different controllers, including one of my friend's controllers at some point when she came over before. Elites, basics, custom, Tech series, they all malfunction.
