    Elite controller, same pile of plastic as day one controllers.


    Excuse my frustration, it's just that out of now 5 controllers, 4 of which are microsoft controllers, the only one that doesn't have the drifting left thumbstick is the $30 AFTERGLOW AFTERMARKET CONTROLLER. That controller has lasted over a year,
    compared to I think the champ of microsoft lasted 3 months. This is ridiculous guys. I even opted for the elite recently on my bday march 5. To my surprise, the exact same issue is now wonderfully smearing your name more. The system is great, most of the time,
    how about you spring for a couple of better-made potentiometers in your so proud controller? I hope no one that buys those custom controllers expects anything to be better. I refuse to buy any more accessories from you guys, think I've given way more chances
    than most would. Get a clue, this is a very common problem and has been since day 1. I know, I bought a day 1.

    No elite controller, OMG end of the world...

    Maybe thell need to manufacture more elite controllers. Im happy with my day 1 xbox 1 controller. I dont want to pay $100+ for a plastic controller. But i hope geek finds one soon.

    elite controller broke

    My Elite Controller Left Bumper just fell off and now I have a $150.00 Pile. and so many of my friends have had the same thing happen. a defect for sure. so if you own, or bought one of these controllers send em in before owning for 3 months.

    CONTROLLER ISSUES - NO HELP FROM MICROSOFT

    @BOOGSmasterJ - the defective plastic modules on the XBO controller that cause for early wear and tear are the exact same on the Elite controller as they are on the standard controller, they use cheap plastic parts where the Xbox 360 controller used metal
    (hence why the Xbox 360 controller was of superior design), the standard Xbox One controller is 50% more than a Xbox 360 controller with only a fraction of the longevity; there's a term for this in business, "planned obsolescence", there's this narrative going
    around that the Xbox One Elite controller is more durable and will last longer, false, analog drift will come all the same on this Elite controller as it will on the standard, I'd give you support material like articles and videos and such to illustrate this

    I have had the same issue with 2 Elite controllers. Xbox will replace the controllers within 90 days but I am sure you will have the same issue with the new ones as the problem will not be fixed; replacing the plastic with something more durable or flexible
    that will withstand the pressure of, in my case, sliding around while playing Warframe. Hopefully they get this fixed. I can't afford to keep replacing $150 controllers.

    If there is something wrong with the controller and if it is under warranty then it will be repaired/replace else the only option is to purchase another controller. Not sure what is loud though as I have never experienced that with any of my controllers.

    Sounds like it is the noise when the plastic hits other plastic while he is playing. Not much you can do about that. Even the Elite would have the same issue.
