Elite controller Right stick drift.

(I am going to see if the suggested hard reset Xbox and re-sync controller works when I get home from work) So my elite controller is drifting up on the right stick, I've looked for awhile about a fix and everything I've read so far says it can't be fixed
but they also say their stick wiggles a bit or gets stick in the position and I have only seen the problem for the left stick whilst mine is the right, so far mine doesn't get stuck even a little up or anything like that but it still looks up and even when
I look down it will still pull up a little (the way my aim is with it is like I'm having a spasm) mostly making this post in hopes there are other fixes if this

my 1st elite: crash gumi grips. send back to service, but i buy a new one for this 2 week. Try this new: right stick drift to right...

ok, my 1st elite came back, try this. left stick drift to right (fresh new controller from ms service)

ok i sent back this 2 broken Elites.

1-2 week done, get 2 new fresh Elites... tested... both new Elite's (my 3rd and 4th) left sticks drift to right...

my last 5 Elites broken, 3 fresh from Xbox Support. Thats a big joke.

 

Is there anything I can do to fix my right thumb stick drift on my Elite controller?

My elite controller is 1 year old and for the last month has developed drift in the right thumb stick. Can this be fixed?

 

doesn't work and people can tell me some ideas/fixes. (Posted this before I finished what I was typing and can't edit for some reason, the above sentence was the last bit I meant to type)

 

Alright I tried it a few times and it didn't work I am fully open to suggestions just hoping "get a new one" isn't the final answer

I'm sorry to see any issues with your Elite controller! I was hoping the hard reset and sync would have worked for you when I came across your thread yesterday.

"Get a new one" is generally the final answer. However, it's not the answer yet. I understand these are expensive controllers, and let's see what all we can do to help out. Depending on how long ago you got your controller (and what region you're in) you
may still be able to get an in-warranty repair for your controller. Do you remember when you ended up getting it?
