Elite controller right bumper xbox

My son’s elite controller right bumper does not want to respond until after depressed several times and then when it does, it is not registering a click

Opinions From People Regarding XB Controller Stick Tension?

Your right on with your analysis of the original and Elite controllers. Don't think there's a huge market for working on the previous controllers because the S controller fixed the problem but there could be Elite owners that would pay for the upgrade. The bumpers we're also made much better on the S compared to the original and Elite's horrible bumpers. Sounds like your looking to be like Battle Beaver Customs.

Xbox Elite Controller grips peeling

The super glue thing didn't work, grips kept peeling. Bought the Scuff replacement panels and a week later the right bumper button stops working. Really wanted to like the elite, but went and bought a Patrol Tech controller. Not wasting anymore time and
money on this so called elite controller.

I'm sorry to hear that. Now in regards to the information provided above you might want to check the Elite controller's warranty to see if you could set up a fulfillment for it. You could try to register the device and set this up on our website:

If needing further assistance I would suggest to contact Live Support. As they have the tools to further assist in regards to registering the device and checking the warranty as well as setting up a fulfillment if the option is available.

i've had 2 - horrible, Right bumper and left bumper went off. Now they have no more replacements for GoW4 LE Elite Controllers. Absolutely horrible that such a pricey product is made with such low quality.

If I send in my Xbox elite 2 to Microsoft can they fix the right bumper problem. I have already sent one Xbox elite 2 in and had the right bumper fixed and it lasted 2 weeks before having the same problem.

I tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.

The bumpers on my launch day Series 1 Elite Controller finally broke a few months ago. Was disappointed that an otherwise perfectly functioning controller (never had the grip issue with mine) was rendered useless because of the poor design of the bumpers.
All the development that went into the Elite and no effort was made to improve this inherent weakness in all Xbox One controllers. I repaired it myself with a replacement bumper from ebay. Never had bumper issues with any of my 360 controllers.
