Elite controller right analogue stick

Hi, hoping someone in here can help. Have just purchased an Xbox x and am having problems with the elite controller, the right analogue stick stopped working (or so I thought) so I went and purchased a elite 2 today. Now I am still having problems with the right analogue stick not working. Following on from that I connected a further four controllers to the xbox x started the x box one and the issue is now happening on the One as well. I even went back to the store replaced the elite 2 for new one and still having the same problem. Xbox customer support have advised a replacement xbox x is needed but I am now starting to think that for some unholy reason this issue is connected to my account. There is absolutely no way that five separate controllers will not move to the right. I have soft and hard reset both machines but still the problem persists. Does anyone fancy getting entangled in this mess to help?

Interesting though that the issue is across both consoles and manifested itself at the same time. Some more details missed out yesterday. The controllers right analogue sticks are registering on both the calibration screen and when going into magnification mode. I have taken all the controllers to a friends and all work on both his X and One. I have also seen a few comments online where people have the same issue but no resolution. This isn't something unknown to MS so unfortunately I don't believe this will be resolved with a replacement unit and I wont be gaming anytime soon!

I share the same opinion with Support on this one. It seems to be a console issue and not an account issue. A replacement will be the best option.

Hey Jedi,

Have you gone into the button/controller configuration to see if maybe your right analogue stick is enabled to use commands? I think in this game, the right analogue stick can also be used to trigger commands, so maybe go in and disable right analogue stick
in the button configuration. Hope you get it sorted mate.

Have you tried using a different controller as there may be a bit of analogue stick drift happening where it would be making it seem like the controller is moving to the right?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issue with right analog stick. Does the analog stick work in a game or anything going right? If it does try updating the controller. If it doesn't may want to think on a repair if new, or
replacement if older controller.
