  1. Elite Controller Repair & Replacement Problems

My Elite Wireless Controller sticks have gone squishy and drift by themselves to the point I cannot use the controller. My problem is I cannot communicate the problem to anyone at Microsoft. I bought my Elite Controller directly from Microsoft last October,
2015, but I never registered the Elite when I bought it and now I cannot register the Controller or even get through to someone at Microsoft. I have now spent about five hours trying to get through to someone at Microsoft via phone and internet. Please advise
me how to break through the communication barrier at Microsoft so I can at least discuss the problem with the people at Microsoft.

    :)

  2. Opinions From People Regarding XB Controller Stick Tension?

I'd like to put myself out there are someone more interested in repair then modification. For a normal controller I'd just replace it if it broke but an elite controller is getting into the price range where repairs might make sense.

  3. Elite Controller repair / replacement

I'd like to have my elite controller either repaired or replaced due to the rubber pads coming away from the main casing - all 4 pads are hanging on by a thread...

The controller was originally purchased in January 2016 - and this is my second unit as the first controller's shell had huge gaps between the different parts of the shell.

I've tried to register the device with the support centre online but for some reason the serial number isn't being accepted.

    Help!

  4. Elite Controller Repair & Replacement Problems

    Hello,

This maybe a late response on your issue. We are sorry to know that you are having issues with your controller registration. We understand that you only want to get this sorted. Let me help you with this steps.

First off, there is no need to register the controller itself. What you need to do is sign in on your account at devicesupport.microsoft.com and then register your Xbox One Console. Once it has been registered you will see it under your My Devices.

You can then process a replacement for you controller by selecting "Replace an Accessory" under Manage Device.

Select the controller then you will be asked to enter the Product ID. It is located inside the battery trunk, the longer set of number on the Bar Code.

Thank you and hope this helps!

Maybe it's just me but when you say "we" it makes it sound like you think you are a Microsoft employee or at least trying to give that impression.

That might be dangerous since I'm pretty sure you're not suppose to pass yourself off as a MS employee.

Maybe ambassadors are allowed to do that? Naaaaaa... they're not.

Can't find the thread but i'm pretty sure this person has been warned before about the way they word their posts.

Impersonating Microsoft employees or even giving that impression will get you a perma ban.

Registered last October in 2015? Fairly certain it's past the 90 day warranty here in the states.

Regular? REGULAR?! I'll have you know kind sir, that there is nothing "regular" about me. Stupendous would be a good label though. ;-)

    Peace, J.R.

Hey guys, instead of discussing incidents like that publicly, it's better to sent a PM to any mod. This way is better for the discussion itself and better for the user you're talking about.

Thanks anyway and I'm going to lock this thread since the OP got a good answer. Elite Controller Repair & Replacement Problems :)

    Several controllers need repairs

They will replace/repair out of warranty controllers so long as they are not Elite controllers.
