Elite Controller Profiles BUG

Ok so ever since this new Dashboard Update, my Xbox Elite controller configurations were a bit screwy. So I went into the accesories app, my profiles were still there but not "applied" to either of the slots available. When I try to save them to either slot
1 or slot 2, instead of saving the configuration I chose, it creates a NEW configuration (config 3, 4, 5... etc) and saves that instead. I'm not able to actually save any of the configurations I made to either of my controller slots. The only one I'm able
to properly place in the slot of my chosing is the HALO Custom that came pre-programmed (I guess with either the game or dashboard, its been there since I can remember).

Already tried a normal reset, hard reset, wiped clean all the controller configurations and remade them... still nothing.

Oh my! This worked! Definitely a bug in the game where they dont handle the LT correctly elite controller, we need to inform them about this bug.

 

Accessories App Needs an Update

I'm having this problem too. Frustrating to own a new Elite controller but to be unable to try different controller profiles.

 

I had this problem, but only specifically with turning on RAdial Calculation on my right thumbstick. Once I turned it on for BOTH thumbsticks, I was able to save. Maybe you aren't experiencing the issue with radial calc, but the concept may be able to be
applied elsewhere.

 

Hey Strages87,

Has this occurred with a variety of different layouts, or is this occurring with a specific button layout? First, give BEasy's suggestion a shot and let us know if that helps. If that doesn't help, could you post up your configuration you're trying to save
to a profile? Having the full button layout you're trying to save will help us a bunch.

I had this problem before and it was resolved. But since today’s (21/3/18) preview update it returned. Come on MS this is not good.
