    Elite controller overheat


    So my elite controller is very cold due to a boiler problem in my gaming room and general office side, i thought it would be a good idea to put it in the microwave but in a in a couple of seconds it starts smoking up, now the controller doesnt turn on. Please help

    Elite controller overheat

    The microwave has fried the elctronics. There is no helping. You will need a new controller.

    Even my Elite won't overheat after leaving it on 8 hours straight. You should be fine with a slim...

    Just be sure to keep it in a well ventilated area.

    Update on “Overheating Xbox”

    This also happens for my original 1TB Xbox elite. Only overheats while playing NBA2K20, while all of my other games have played fine.

    The Good News... Red ring of death should be gone...

    Now its the tv controller of death, it will overheat half way though a 2 hr movie

    Yeah, it says if it stays red after unplugging and plugging back in to replace it. Mine works fine after that until it overheats and trips the breaker(which I guess isn't fine). I'm curious if there is anything that I can control that is causing the overheat.
