Elite controller not responding correctly on PC

After a few seconds of gameplay, the controller appears to "freeze" or become "stuck", i.e. it appears that Im holding down several random buttons suddenly. The only fix is to unplug a replug, only to have the issue reoccur. I have already refreshed and
replaced drivers with no avail.

Xbox not responding correctly

Yesterday morning the Xbox would not turn on with the "Xbox on" command, when powered on with the button did not turn on the other devices. Kept getting some errors when attempting to watch TV (as if it could not read the signal). It was also not recognizing
anyone who walked in, we had to manually sign in. Was also only hearing the occasional voice command (all this was strange as we have had no issues before). Checked the settings and it was set to turn the other devices on/off when the Xbox turns on and off
so we attempted to set the Kinect back up. Only it froze. Turned it off with the power button. When turned back on it was still stuck on the black settings screen. Powered it down and unplugged it for a few seconds. Afterwards everything seemed to be working
fine, until last night. Had some issues logging into Xbox live while my internet was up and running fine (this could have been the game as well though). Then this morning the same issues began again. Nothing turned on with the Xbox, no voice commands are working
and while it says "Hi " the Xbox did not actually log me in or show my stuff. What gives and is there any kind of fix/solution.

Xbox Elite paddles

Hello, I bought the Xbox Elite controller for my PC and I very satisfied with it, but I have a question. Elite controller have four paddles that copy ABXY default and in special app from WinStore I can remapping it but only on controller buttons. On PC it
will be very useful to use this 4 paddles like unique buttons because some games like Elite Dangerous have many button-options. Question: will Microsoft make update for Elite controller on PC, that make 4 paddles unique buttons?

P.S. sorry for bad english.

We understand you are having issues with the Elite controller not working on Fortnite when connected via Bluetooth. It could be possible that the issue is with the in-game settings since the controller is working fine when using a wired connection.
To fix the issue, we highly suggest trying these steps.
Solution 1:

Open Fortnite
Click on the main menu and then Settings
Go to Mouse and Keyboard
Scroll down to “Ignore Gamepad Input” and switch it to “On”

Solution 2:
Unplug any other peripherals that may interfere with the controller.

Solution 3:

Sign out all users and start Fortnite again with the Xbox account you want to play on.
Restart your PC and check again the game to see if it works.

Hi Lucas, thanks for your responding this happens on my Pc I just got a new Alienware with windows 11 I can plug ps5 controller and works perfectly but if I plug the Xbox Elite 2 it does not works

My xbox elite controller 2 had an issue and wasn't responding correctly so I filed a claim to receive a replacement. Now I need to ship the controller in order to receive the replacement but what do I include when I ship the controller? In the directions
it says not to include removable parts but it is talking about the elite 1 and is not very clear.

If part of the issue is with the removable parts place everything in a sealable bag such as a ziplock or if you have the original package still place everything back in the box and ship. If the only faulty part is the controller itself then just send the
controller. I hope this was helpful for you in clearing up the instructions.
