Elite controller no longer works with chat pad unless power cable is inserted.

As above. I have tried the chatpad on another controller and it works fine on battery only. I have tried updating the controller with the chatpad attached but no update is needed. I've tried other batteries! Elite controller works fine with or without
chatpad but chatpad gets no power from controller unless power cable is plugged in.

Any ideas?

Anyone else have this problem. Chat pad one s controller.

Bought s controller for pc connected via Bluetooth. Bought chat pad for it. Chat pad will only work when controller is connected via USB to pc. Bought doggie for x one controllers. Chat pad still refused to work wirelessly with s. However it will work wirelessly
with first Gen x one controller and doggie.

I can hear myself with the mic monitor and I can hear parties talk but they can not hear ME when I use my ELITE controller and a regular XB1 Mic (either launch mic or newer chat pad mic)

Now the launch XB1 Mic will work with my launch XB1 pad PERFECTLY.

THAT is why I think it was a software update on the EILTE pad. Anyway to roll it back or reinstall it? Frustrating!!!

Yep, one of the things I've tried a few times above. Says no update needed!

Its the Elite controller. I've just tried an audio adapter and that only works if the power cable is connected no matter what battery charged or not.

Well I'M having the issue and the controller, play and charge kit were both bought at the same time 3 months ago (I chose to pay in 3 via PayPal). The cable simply powers the cable. The controller doesn't even vibrate anymore when the cable is inserted. It'll power the pad and sometimes I get the charge animation but a few seconds later it's back to power only. Advise....
