Elite Controller - New Update has made Instant Sticks Unplayable

Since the Elite controller update I cannot use Instant setting as it jumps all over the place. Two of my friends updated tonight and had the same issue. Is this a bug or are they trying to make a setting that is extremely sensitive?

Elite controller deadzones

I recently have been getting upward stick drift on my right stick for my Elite controller. If there was a deadzone (inner and outer) setting for sticks on the Elite app I could fix it, as I've managed to mostly resolved the problem with Halo 5's controller
settings. Please consider these additions in the next app update.

And on a side note, I am *** that this controller has failed in less than 6 months. This is unacceptable, this thing was supposed to be made to higher quality standards. I have had regular Xbox controllers last longer than this. Even though I love using
this controller more than any other, I still give a -1 to MS for the poor stick housings.

XBOX ONE Elite controller right analog stick malfunction

Elite controller barely used, right analog stick won't work at all. Happened suddenly while playing BF1. Done recommended (by microsoft) troubleshooting including controller update. When attempting to register the problem in microsoft device management, I'm
only left with various options to purchase new replacable parts, which obviously isn't the problem. The analog stick does not appear jammed, nor has any trauma befallen the controller. Software problem? Is there anywhere to send the controller for repairs?

Yeah same here. When I put my sticks on instant setting my right stick seems off centre. And when I play a fps my gun drops down so I'm looking at the floor.

Was surprised that more people are not talking about this. Hope its just a bad update and will be fixed. OR it is the new sensitive setting that some people can actually use.

It's not just you, the setting is definitely *** atm. I play Destiny, and if I set it to instant my crosshairs move across the screen without even touching the sticks, even with the lowest look sensitivity enabled.

I hear you and empathize with your issue. I bought an Xbox Elite Series 2, and after 2 months, I had nearly unplayable stick drift on the right stick. I did put in about 40-50 hours a week on the controller, but I had really hoped the redesign would hold
up better than the Elite Series 1. If you have a warranty, Microsoft can replace your entire controller if the time threshold is not exceeded. I had to install new sticks in my controller, which when taken apart, are metal sticks compared to plastic sticks
in the normal controller. I would search in your local area to see if there is a console/controller repair service in your city. I took mine there, and has been working like new! I even have the lowest-lower dead-zone settings on my fps games.
