    I've had an Xbox one Elite console for about a year now, and recently I've been having issues with the controller cutting out randomly.

    I use a third party headset with the controller via the official Xbox adapter (The built in 3.5mm jack doesn't work with the microphone on the headset) . When playing, the audio will cut out and crackle intermittently and shortly after the controller itself
    will turn off, then turn itself back on almost immediately. After it turns on I am unable to talk to anyone, but I can still hear the people in the party. To fix it I have to turn the controller off and then re-connect it manually.

    I am using a play and charge kit in it and have not seen this issue with other controllers whilst using the same battery pack.

    Is this an issue with the controller or the console?

    How can I fix it?

    If its within 12 months, the store you bought it from HAS to do something about it, that's the law, and they probably know it, they are just fobbing you of.

    So apparently, Microsoft will NOT repair an Elite Controller. The rubber grip on the bottom of mine is falling off and the only thing will offer to do is sell me a new one. Has this happened to anyone else? Does it seem fair at all that they wont repair
    a 150 controller?

    Why am I now shopping for my 4th Xbox controller

    I've had my white elite controller for over a year now without any issues. I went through two black elite controllers because the grips came off. I haven't had that issue with the white ones. I'm looking forward to the elite 2 controller.

    Is there a difference between the Bluetooth on the Elite and the one on the regular Xbox one controllers. My other controllers connect without an issue, but not the Elite.

    Xbox Elite or Scuf?

    I would recommend the standard Xbox One controller, I had same issue with my Elite controller. Also check and see if your Elite controller is still under warranty.

    November Update broke Elite Controller/Console Sync/Power On

    Having the Exact same problem. Can even sync the elite controller to the old console with no issue. Seems to be the elite controller/console combo having the issue. Full power down did allow it to resync.

    Will follow up if the issue recurs.
