    Elite Controller Issues


    When I wirelessly connect my elite controller (regardless of what batteries) and connect my headset (steel series arctis 5) it emits a terrible screeching sound in the headphones, then powers off.

    When I connect it wirelessly with without headset, it works.

    Now, when I connect it via USB and plug my headset in the right ear headphone will work, but the left will not produce any sound other than a moderate buzz.

    I have cycled power and updated the controller whike wired and connected to the headset. No change.

    The headset will work on another controller with no issue.

    The controller is out of warranty, but not damaged externally in any way.

    Any fix? Thanks.

    Why am I now shopping for my 4th Xbox controller

    I've had my white elite controller for over a year now without any issues. I went through two black elite controllers because the grips came off. I haven't had that issue with the white ones. I'm looking forward to the elite 2 controller.

    Is there a difference between the Bluetooth on the Elite and the one on the regular Xbox one controllers. My other controllers connect without an issue, but not the Elite.

    Xbox Elite or Scuf?

    I would recommend the standard Xbox One controller, I had same issue with my Elite controller. Also check and see if your Elite controller is still under warranty.

    November Update broke Elite Controller/Console Sync/Power On

    Having the Exact same problem. Can even sync the elite controller to the old console with no issue. Seems to be the elite controller/console combo having the issue. Full power down did allow it to resync.

    Will follow up if the issue recurs.
