Elite controller is Smashing fun...

The prices have certainly dropped now Christmas has been and gone.

I'll admit I love my Elite, it's awesome, can't imagine ever going back to a crappy regular controller haha

 

It is worth it and I think MS got more orders than expected. So my favorite controller is actually the Nintendo Game cube controller but that's obviously out of the question. The cronus works fine with xb1/ps4, particularly when you preprogram it or find
someone that can. Up to now I've used DS1/2/3 controllers on everything, however i certainly don't like the DS4. If you're paying the money for one of these you may as well make the most out of it.

 

My fav controller is the original NES game pad...games now are too sophisticated for that tho. Luv the Elite tho. Tried using my old controller and was just frustrated by trying to use the non existent paddles...great controller. Piz wash your hands b4 using
it tho lol...it will be happier.

 

I love mine also. Tip Double press the green sync button to disable the back pads if you are going to rest it on the lounge or lap to avoid button presses you dont intend.

 

Luvvit. The best controller for X1... Great weight, good balance... Disagree?...

Same, now anyway.

To be honest when I first handled one I wasn't convinced, I have pretty big hands so the paddles seem to just get in my way more than anything. Then my friend reminded me you can just swap them around, tried some different setups, and eventually found I
liked just the two smaller paddles in the lower positions.

So I took the plunge, and I'm super happy I did!

How do you guys have yours configured?

 

Seeing that the controller is hard to find nowadays, I noticed Amazon increase the price from $150 to 249.00.

I want to get one but I find that price extremely high. Hopefully the price drops in the near future (wishful thinking).

 

^^u do realize that Amazon has scalper sellers, just like eBay. If it's not offered and sold and shipped by Amazon your probably paying a premium. Don't pay that price for this. 150$ and no more. GL...

There are sites you can sign up for which email you with stock alerts, that's how I got mine for a reasonable price.

That's not Amazon, that's a 3rd party seller.

I paid $150 for mine, with a free copy of Halo 5. Nice controller, though I'm still wondering why I bothered considering I've probably used my Xbox One a total of 20~ hours.

 

But is the Elite controller fun to smash?
