Elite controller is how much!?!?!

not really no. this isn't a new thing. look up the scuf one. you can send them your controller and they do the same thing to it. been doing it for years.

there's also go for a similar price. there really isn't much of a benefit if you ask me. if your on the level of pro sure, but the buttons on the back will just be X or Y.. A or B.. R1.. they are a duplicate so you don't get extra buttons just two of the
same button. it makes it so for example you don't have to take your thumb off the look stick to jump or crouch.. not all that big of deal.

for like 70$ Scuf can add custom buttons and they are what the pros have been using. im sure the pros will use a mix of Xelite and Scuf controllers cause they are nice.

Its worth the 150$ from what ive seen.

 

@goth its not a case of have and have not's I could afford to buy two a day to use as toilet paper for the next year and it wouldn't hurt financially, for me its cost v performance there's just a much better option that's only a bit more expensive depending
on your kb/m preference.

 

Gaming is not a birth right nor required, it is a hobby... Hobbies are expensive...complaining about a $150 controller... while on a $650 cell phone.. irony

 

I got to admit I agree with some about how a few people are acting in this thread, odd/rude is an understatement.

It's up to each of us how we spend our money, not for anyone else to tell us what to do.

Having said that I totally appreciate that not everyone is in the financial position to be able to afford one, that's just the way of life.

Some don't think it's worth the money, then no problem you won't be buying it. For other's it's worth it so good luck to them as well.

 

This obviously doesn't apply to me because I have a Ps4, but I'd like to make an observation. There are other factors that most people consider when making a purchase that go beyond the mere cost of the item. Just because I may be able to afford a mechanical
bull for my living room, is it something I need? Is it practical? Will it be hard for me to go on without it?

Can we move past the haves vs. the have nots rut we seem to be in and talk about why this blasted thing is so important?

As I said earlier , hopefuly , the button remapping to the padles will help with my arthritis.

For example , I wont need to press in the left thumbstick to activate L3 , sniper breath in Cod .

Apart fom that , and other features , it seems like a nice bit of kit .

 

To be honest, all things considered, I don't think the price is 'that' high. If it's built the way I think it will be, could very well outlive a couple of Xbox Ones.

Might sound weird but next to the debut of the 360, and then the XO, the Elite Controller is kind of a big deal to me.

I remember when I bought my Logitech Harmony One ($140) 6-7 years ago. At the time, it was well worth the bells and whistles - and I still use like it's brand new, today.

 

If you think, that 2 controllers if the same prices as a boxed new console, that seems high to me.

However compared to scufs its very well priced.

It all depends who you and what u want it for.

Anyone who buys high end steering wheels also won't think its that high a price tag.
