    Elite controller is a waste of money


    Total waste! Stupid thing has so much slop in the left stick, I can barely even select a title on netflix. The concept is great. Actual durability is crap. Mine is not even 3 months old, it was a gift and the person who gave it to me can't find the receipt.
    MS said sorry about your luck. I'm so turned off, I'll likely be scrapping all of my MS gear, my 15 years loyalty, 5 or 6 years of xbox live and multiple ownership of 3 generations of consoles(i've bought 2 gen 1's, 3 360's and 1 one and 1 one s) and going to
    PS and apple.

    dont bother with elite, dont waste your money..all that money to get just 2 new maps a little bit sooner..at least people without elite have the chance not to waste their money on cr**p maps

    So after finding the receipt, I learned it was bought over 90 days ago. Xbox/MS still is saying they will cover it.. So fingers crossed. It would be nice to see they stand behind such a pricey item

    If you know that you are hard on controllers then spending $180 on a controller only to have it break on you would be a waste of money in my opinion. You could go with controllers that are less expensive like the standard Microsoft controllers or PDP controllers.
    But if money isn't an issue than you might really enjoy the experience of an Elite 2.

    The super glue thing didn't work, grips kept peeling. Bought the Scuff replacement panels and a week later the right bumper button stops working. Really wanted to like the elite, but went and bought a Patrol Tech controller. Not wasting anymore time and
    money on this so called elite controller.
