Elite controller input lag

Discus and support Elite controller input lag in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I dont know what happened. Nothing changed, in the last week.     Elite controller input lag


    I dont know what happened. Nothing changed, in the last week. Now my elite controller two has an input lag where I press one of the RB or LB buttons and most of the time nothing happens, and sometimes I need to press it two or three times before my input is received. In both of the games i play as well, so it is not a games specific issue. any suggestions? Im using and xbox one X like 3 months old.

    i Just tested it with a regular controller and it worked fine. Then switched back to my Elite 2 and the input lag was there again.

    This is interesting. Do u happen to know if while playing wired, the elite controler has the same input lag as a normal wired controller? Or does it continue being a wireless operation, but is charging?

    I've since done some testing. When Remapping Paddles to any button it does not introduce lag. When remapping any face button to an input originally intended for another face button It introduces Lag as well. Haven't tested the effect of stick clicks or bumpers
    yet.

    We have split this thread from the original post to better assist more people. This seems to be stemming from the control drivers so why not try a

    Controller Update    ? Let us know how it goes so we can get this issue ironed out!

    I've had the exact same problem. I replaced it 4 times and always had the same problem. I'm not saying this will work for you, but my power cable (with the big clunky box) went out on me, and after I replaced it, my controller started working perfectly. I haven't had any issues since! No idea why, could be coincidence, but I think it's worth a try. Especially if you have a friend with an Xbox who will let you borrow their cable to try it out.
