Elite Controller fixes drift issue & stick tension issue?

Im concerned about paying $150 for a customizable controller if I can only reasonably expect it to work correctly for 12 months. I don't abuse controllers, they are used frequently though. With
this is mind and on all my controllers, I've found that stick tension crispness depreciates over time and sometimes there is drift on the left stick. On one controller I've had a right trigger issue; sometimes there is resistance to trigger pull, a catch in
the trigger and inside a crunching sound can be heard. Needless to say that controller is kaput. What changes have been made toward durability of the internals? To sharpen lost tension, are the internals replaceable like the control surfaces?

Background: Im Day One, I've had 4 total controllers in a 2 controller system serving generally a single gamer.

Xbox One Elite/Normal controller stick drift

I'm noticing stick drift in my six month old Elite controller. Much like my old generation one controller and my spec ops controller I purchased for my XB1. The support site says to purchase a new controller. I spent the $150 on a new controller and do
not see myself purchasing a new one to fix a known issue with XB1 controllers.

1. Is there a way to send it in for replacement(warranty)?

2. Is there a way to reset stick drift? (ie. scuff controller: push the stick for 15 seconds then rotate 360 degrees)

Elite Controller

My elite controller left stick has a really bad drift and not all games allow for the adjustment of drift. I am not in warranty and want to know what I can do to get this issue fixed.

2 original xbox1 remotes same issues. Why won't they acknowledge their defective equipment and take care of there customers?

Great idea but executed poorly.

Grips peel by the 3 month mark.

Stick tension is so low that the longer sticks are a detriment to your aim.

Lost my first elite by month 9 or so to stick drift.

I have two original elite controllers and one pf the new elite 2 controllers that I got my son for Christmas. They all have drift issues with the left sticks. I hd thought it would be addressed with the new version, but I guess not. Please help
make this right.

Unfortunately, stick drift seems all too common in this current generation on Xbox, on PS4, and even on Switch. I wonder if it's because so many games use the sticks at buttons as well, which is leading to extra pressure being exerted? I've lost many controllers
to stick drift, and looking at the forums and reddit, a lot of people are complaining about stick drift issues from day one with the Elite series 2. Fingers crossed that Xbox can address the issue for everybody affected by it.

The problem is not just the on elite 2 controllers its a issue with all controllers that use the PDP program because i have 3 afterglow controllers that have problems with joy stick drift i also have 2 power A controllers that have problems with joy stick
drift as well and my brother has an elite 2 series controller that also has the same problem

Deadzones aren't really intended to fix stick drift. Stick drift is a fault that needs repairing.

And the customisation is another reason to buy the Elite. They need to make it different from the standard controller.
