    I bought the elite controller on release date everything fine until Tuesday this week seems to disconnect when playing games I

    use the USB cable I don't use batteries just the cable to the USB as I said it constantly in mid game can anyone help with this issue I have also done restarts on my Xbox

    One and the issue still happening I have also reported problem through the Xbox report problem as I'm in the Xbox preview program but not yet add anything back thank you

    Maybe, but it's so annoying, never had any such issues on PS4, 360 or PS3.

    I'm interested in the Elite controller but don't want to blow £120 on a controller that disconnects.

    Elite Controller is the best addition to this gen

    I looked into all those ways to use the Elite on PS4 and there are a lot of issues going that route. None of the adapters are super streamlined and then there's the case of remapping for every game and the frequent split second disconnects. Those disconnects will spell the end of you in a Bloodbourne boss battle. I have no choice but to wait on the 3rd parties Sony contracted with.

    I am having the same problem. I even bought a new elite controller thinking mine went bad but the new one has the exact same issue. I have heard it is WiFi interference but can't find any details. So far crickets from MS.

    Updates:

    Paired both controllers to console at the same time. Both controllers lost and regain sync at the same time.

    Paired Elite controller to iPhone. No disconnects.

    Paired one controller to console and other to phone. Controller connected to console disconnected, controller connected to iPhone stayed connected.

    Hey Tyler,

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with your Elite 2 controller :/ Here's some questions/things you can try that might tell us more (totally understand that you probably can't try all of them):

    1. Have you tried any other controllers with your Xbox and do they ever exhibit this issue (disconnecting while wireless)?
    2. Does your Elite 2 controller have the same issue (disconnecting while on wireless) on other Xboxes?
    3. Have you tried a hard reset on your Xbox just to rule that out?
    4. Have you tried removing the batteries from the Elite 2 controller while disconnected from the cord? (like controller hard reset)
    5. Have you checked to make sure the battery are seated firmly in the controller and that the back plate fits snugly?
    6. Have you tried syncing your Elite 2 controller to another Xbox, and then re-syncing it back to your own Xbox?

    Hopefully this will help us determine if it's your controller or Xbox that is causing the problem!
