Title says it all, the curves you try to set wont save, it automatically resets as soon as you leave the stick sensitivity screen. The new curves have only one initial setting that are unusable for anything other than default. Honestly the previous preset
curves from before this update were more reasonable than this craziness. Please tell me I am not the only person with this problem?

    :)

They need to simplify this problem. Microsoft try this 4 point system leave points 1 and 4 anchored to 0 and 100. Allow points 2 and 3 to float and be adjusted on the graph by the user. Allow point 2 to reach 50% at any point on graph, allow point 3 to reach
100% at any point after point 2. Sounds complicated, but its allot simpler than what your trying. You will only have 2 settings (custom, default) custom is 2 point adjustable. This will provide everyone a workable solution. Simple, effective, elegant.

I have the same problem. I also agree that the new curves are much worse than the old ones - in particular the 'smooth' curve is nothing like the previous version, which was slightly steeper to begin with, then slightly shallower later. The new 'smooth'
curve is anything but - you can adjust only the shallowness of the later part of the curve; the first part is always 1:1 inputElite controller custom stick sensitivity curve wont set or save with newest update. :eek:utput.

Previously 'smooth' was fantastic on the right stick for aiming in Halo 5. Now it is awful and I have had to go back to default to make the game playable. Microsoft - please put it back the way it was!

Where do I go to customize my own thumbstick sensitivity curves?

Thanks, although the video is from more than a year ago - around the time of release of the controller. Also, the Accessories App updated to the latest version when I first plugged in the Elite Controller. I only see the presets, with no function to customize
    curves from scratch.
If you are referring to the Trigger sensitivity, you can can customize the sensitivity of your triggers by adjusting their maximum and minimum ranges.

To customize the triggers, you can use the hair-trigger mechanical switch on your controller or with the Trigger sensitivity section in the app.

You can refer for the steps and suggestions under Sticks, triggers & vibration on this

    link
    .

Depending on the game you play, these settings will have different responses. One way to test your settings is to set Slot 1 to
Default and Slot 2 to your customized setting.

If you have further inquiries, feel free to post here at anytime.

    elite series 2

I have both and like the series 2 way better.

Using the Accessories app, I tried all the Left and Right stick sensitivity settings to get them to my liking.

    Left stick: Smooth sensitivity curve

    Right stick: Instant sensitivity curve

Xbox Elite Controller right analog stick.

    Hi there!

As an Elite controller owner myself you did exactly what I would've done by going into the Accessories app and testing the sensitivity curve through the configuration. That data is good because generally the two indicators that show the actual distance the
analog stick is registering compared to what is actually being moved physically, tells you the difference in input when customizing the sensitivity curve.

Through your testing, the issue more than likely lies in the circuitry of the controller causing this added input with your right analog stick. In your example I'm guessing you play PUBG and this is where it is occurring but do you notice this same effect
in any other shooters you play?

If it happens no matter what game you play, then it's an issue with the internal components of the right analog stick and would need to be set up with an exchange if the controller is still in warranty.
