Elite Controller Clips

I just wanted to thank the person or team who designed the new One Elite controller. Changing the clips on the battery compartment, thus preventing me from reusing my battery packs and charging stand, is truly inspiring. I applaud you for forcing me to re-buy
things I already own to accommodate your changes.

How is your Elite Controller holding up?

The One and Elite controllers use a very small analog stick mechanism and there's a clip that works loose resulting in these issues.

Buy a warranty with your Elite Controller!!

The analog stick mechanism on the standard and Elite One controller is much smaller than the 360 controller mechanism and is prone to the internal clips coming loose. The build quality of the One's controller components should be much better.

Tons of people have this issue including me. The stick sensors are made by alps and they use a cheap plastic clip that breaks if you press too hard on the controller which you WILL if you play esports games. I have broken numerous controllers that microsoft
has replaced for me but the simplest and cheapest fix is to strengthen this clip. It may cost them maybe a penny more per controller. I just hope for their sake that they fixed this issue on the new elite 2 controller otherwise they will have serious loyalty
issues.

I don't think it's possible to do this on the elite controller please be aware the dashboard update that will be releasing soon makes recording game clips much faster, also if you plug a chat headset into the controller and activate Cortana the voice command
of "Hey Cortana record that" will also work.

Unfortually it isnt possable too just buy the grips. Controllers including the Elite are just replaced with in the warranty. Unfortually if you added scuf grips too your controller that would viod the warranty

Really? Because that would be really unfair.. the grips literally just clip off so you can clip more on, that's like saying i I replace the analog sticks it voids the warranty, I'd find that really unfair if that was an actual thing, regardless Thank you

The grips are not made too come of the controller. The analog sticks are.

so I'm expected to send my controller in every few months for replacement? the Grips literally clip out and you can clip more in.. I don't fancy constantly sending my controller in for repairs, I play call of duty and many of games
competitively my controller wears down fast.

If you go onto the ELITE website there is a clear set of instructions. You must render the clip you desire, from there you can upload to ELITE and from the ELITE website, transfer it onto Youtube.
