  1. Elite Controller Chat Problem


    I have the Elite controller and I'm using the Astro A40's with it - they plug in to the bottom of the controller. When I'm in a party I can hear the game audio and my friends but no one can hear me. There is no light around my gamerpic when I'm looking at
    the party.

    I have hard reset the console which didn't help and I have swapped to another controller and my friends can hear me. So the problem appears to be with the Elite Controller.

    I had this issue several weeks ago after an update was pushed out (maybe a coincidence) but after a few days it was fine.

    Any solutions?

    Astro Headsets A30/A40/A50 , the New Headset Adapter with Surround Sound

    I have just replaced my Turtle beach stealth 500x for Astro A50 .
    Am having problems with my controller disconnecting randomly when I use the Astro chat adapter .
    The only way I can use the chat adapter is to keep the usb power cable from the pad to the Xbox one .
    Has anyone els had this controller disconnect problem ?
    I have tried everything from a replacement Astro headset to new elite controller but still get the disconnection .
    The message on screen says please reconnect controller , the light on the pad flashes then stays on and I have to take out the batteries to reset the pad .
    Astro say its a Microsoft problem and Microsoft say its an Astro problem .

    Any ideas ???

  3. Elite Controller umtauschen

    Hallo

    Mein Elite Controller funktioniert seit gestern nichtmehr und da ich den Kassenzettel nicht mehr habe wollte ich ihn über microsoft umtauschen lassen.

    Nun ist allerdings das Problem , dass weder das Umtauschen des controllers per Seriennummer funktioniert ( zeigt nach eingeben von allen Daten immer an :,,keine Daten gefunden) noch der Support chat oder der telefonische Support reagiert.

    Der controller ist erst ein halbes Jahr alt und ging über Nacht nichtmehr an

    Weiß jemand noch eine andere Möglichkeit zum umtauschen ?

  5. Update: contacted Support aaaaaand.... my 90 day warranty is up so my only option is to buy a new one. There is no repair option whatsoever. Even for money they won't do anything. I love the level of support for 1st party accessories.

    Sorry to hear about the issue and that your controller is out of warranty. Do you have another headset you can try with your Elite controller? I understand you were able to use your Astros on a different controller but let's try a different headset on your
    current controller. Also make sure that your controller is fully updated (if you're using an Astro mixamp make sure that's updated too!) and that it's also assigned to your Gamertag.

    Maybe one of those things will help but keep us posted!

    I have exactly the same problem, basic chat headset, as soon as I plug it in the 3.5mm jack on my Elite controller, it disables atmos and switches to 7.1. Surely this cant be right!!
