Elite controller chat no longer working

So, I spent over $160 for this stupid controller 3 months ago, and now, I can't chat with it. I can hear game audio fine, but no one can hear me talk in a party. I know it's not the headset, because it works fine with other controllers, it's just on the
Elite, whether I use the built-in 3.5mm jack, or a headset adapter.

Elite controller mapping no longer working correctly

Went to use R6 Siege tonight and found my mapping on the Elite controller no longer works.

realised it wasn't just in R6.

i have tried re-creating map pings and saving to different slots, but no luck, is this a known issue?

Thanks for posting. When you say "it works fine with other controllers" this includes party chat and voice messages, correct? As in, those work fine using other Xbox One controllers? If that's the case, your Xbox Elite controller may be in need of repairs.
You can begin the repair process via the
Online Service Center.

Sorry for any frustrations this may have caused.

Well, it is finally working again, but now the controller is pretty much useless due to a new issue. When Left thumbstick is in the center, game characters will start walking on their own, and if in a menu, scrolls the menu really fast. Unfortunately, this
controller is past the 3 month warranty period, but for the price of this controller, that warranty should be at least 6 months. I basically have a $170 paper-weight now.

Oh no, sorry to hear about that new issue. Have you tried switched the control sticks out on the left thumbstick to see if that had any effect? Also is the controller up to date? There may have been a new update released recently since the new dashboard
came out.

there was no updates, and it's the internal part of the left thumbstick that's the problem. If you give the controller a bit of a shack, you can here it clunking on the inside. Shame too, because it was a great controller, but I refuse to pay $170 for another
one.

Im having an issue where the chat pad won't connect to the elite controller. Works fine on all other controllers. I had it working for a second i pushed it in and it worked but, it stopped again. Mic works fine on the controller same adapter style.

All updates where done.
