Elite controller bumper is semi stuck.

Hey, my lb on my elite controller is having an issue where i can press the bumper at the peak of it but if i hit it further down on the side, as tends to happen when i'm playing it wont press. Is there a way to fix this? Has anyone had that happen? Can i
fix it by replacing the bumpers? Also waaaaaaay outside of warranty so I'm trying to avoid spending the cash on a new one.

Grips coming off elite controller

the grips on my elite controller and peeling off and I cannot fix it. (Push them back into the crease) the right trigger and bumper get stuck a lot. Help thanks

Here is the info on getting the elite Controller serviced.
Servicing your Xbox Elite Controller You will put in a service request
here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/devices
under your console. Change the category to Accessories and then under select issue type select Elite Controller. Then input your PID number from the controller and click create repair order.

The 2 bumpers are connected together, if the broke apart it can cause a similar issue to what your describing. You can purchase bumpers from amazon or ebay and there are videos on youtube on how to fix this. I have done a couple of them myself.

It is not possible to purchase bumpers for the elite controller directly from Microsoft, If the bumpers of your elite controller require replacing the controller would need to be sent to
Microsoft repair centre for this.

I tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.

The bumpers on my launch day Series 1 Elite Controller finally broke a few months ago. Was disappointed that an otherwise perfectly functioning controller (never had the grip issue with mine) was rendered useless because of the poor design of the bumpers.
All the development that went into the Elite and no effort was made to improve this inherent weakness in all Xbox One controllers. I repaired it myself with a replacement bumper from ebay. Never had bumper issues with any of my 360 controllers.
