Elite controller broken again

I just received my warranty replaced controller and it already has issues. The left stick is erratic, making some games unplayable. For example, I can no longer play The Golf Club because the controller cannot hit 100% on the back swing. It's the same
issue I had with the old controller, except the old controller took months to fail. This one failed by the second day of use. I'm now looking at buying a regular controller so when the Elite is in the shop, I can still play. This is hardly fair. What can
Xbox do to make this situation better?

My Elite Controller Left Bumper just fell off and now I have a $150.00 Pile. and so many of my friends have had the same thing happen. a defect for sure. so if you own, or bought one of these controllers send em in before owning for 3 months.

The Xbox service and repair center looks like it only repairs the console and kinect only. You can look around for a third party games shop such as Gamestop (US) or GAME (UK).

I'm afraid repair fees are non-refundable but I believe you can still repair the controller free of charge. Have you checked the warranty status of this controller on the device page?

Hi there, I checked the warranty status and it says it's out of warranty.. I only had it fixed a month ago so I am not paying again to have it "fixed". Is there not a way that I can have this fixed free of charge considering the one I received is even more faulty than the one I sent back?

I have. I went through the online instructions when it says that my controller would be inspected and then replaced with a similar refurbished product, to paraphrase what it said. But what it is saying is that I might not get my controller back if I send it in. I would want mine fixed, and get my controller back (although I wouldn't mind a new one). Not one that was used by someone else.
