elite controller broke

my left bumper has become loose and the grip has come off not done anything but play games with it so random. how do i get it repaired

You'll want to contact Xbox Support. You can't create a repair order for a controller online.

Xbox Accessories just have a 90 day warranty in the states plus you may need a copy of the proof of purchase (receipt) for Xbox Support.

There is no repair for the controllers, only replacement if within warranty.

Broken Elite Controller

My xbox one elite controller is broken. When I play games it moves me on it's own and it can get annoying if I have to stand still somewhere. I tried going to the Repair Center but when I put in the Serial Number for the controller it says that you’re having
troubles on your end but it works for my xbox serial number but not my controller. I want to get it repaired but I can’t add it.

 

The Xbox service and repair center looks like it only repairs the console and kinect only. You can look around for a third party games shop such as Gamestop (US) or GAME (UK).

 

If you have your receipt try checking with the retailer you purchased from and see if you are able to get a replacement or refund.

If not despite previous comments, send in your controllers for repair or replacements. It's best if your console is still covered by warranty as you won't need to pay much at all or any for that matter.

SEND IN THE BARE CONTROLLER, keep the removable sticks and DPAD, as you will be sent back barebone controller.

 

My Elite Controller Left Bumper just fell off and now I have a $150.00 Pile. and so many of my friends have had the same thing happen. a defect for sure. so if you own, or bought one of these controllers send em in before owning for 3 months.

 

Is there a way we can get an extended warranty on these controllers?

So far I've only found the stock 90 day warranty for it. If its so durable, why doesn't MS put its warranty where its mouth is and have at least a 2 year warranty. I'm not going to drop $150 on a controller if MS won't even support their hardware.

 

The only warranty extension I know of is one you can get for your console within 90 days after purchase. Extends it to 3 years for $60. Since the Elite Controller counts as an accessory, I'm sure it would probably be covered by that.

I luckily haven't run into any issues yet with mine. Bought it in February and use it almost daily on PC games and lots of DOOM and Halo 5.
