    Elite controller and static


    I bought an Elite controller and since I using it I have experienced static when using my Turtle Beach XO headset. I contacted Turtle Beach and they were unable to find anything wrong with my headset. When plugging in the headset directly to the Elite
    controller I get no static. When I plug in my XO headset and module into my old controller I don't have static. But if I connect my XO headset and module into my Elite controller I get static. Any suggestions?

    Elite controller

    So I just recently bought an elite controller and a pair of Astro a 40s. I have been hearing really loud static noise from the headphones when I turn my Xbox on and off. I checked to see if it was my head set and tried it on two of my other controllers.
    There was not static. Was just wondering if it I’m my elite controller.

    I recently got an Xbox one elite controller and it has a lot of mic static compared to my regular Xbox one wireless controller, I recently noticed it because the sound is unbearable and gives me a headache. I know it isn't the microphone
    because it only happens with my elite controller and not the regular one. Please Help, thanks for the concern.

    It shouldn't do that because the console is earthed through the mains. Yeah, I wouldn't use it plugged in and maybe have the console tested.

    when did you buy it and in which country?

    it certainly shouldn't have it and needs fixing.

    Aren't the paddles plastic? how can they shock you?
