    Elite Controller: Am I Being Picky?


    Bought an Elite Controller at Best Buy. The left stick was making a squeaking/grinding sound when moved left/bottom. It seemed to work OK, but it bothered me. I exchanged it.

    Second Controller also has a faint sound on the left stick. It's intermittent though. Not as bad as the first. Also, the right bumper feels mushy, not as clicky as the left or the bumpers on my other two controllers.

    Should I take it back? I'm really loving the paddles for Halo but it's really discouraging having these small issues with a controller that cost $150.

    My elite controller is being wierd

    My elite controller is being wierd when I use the thumbstick it will skip a menu in the xbox menu and im games I can't run and I will be moved by the controller

    Elite Controller: Am I Being Picky?

    $150 controller should work perfect when it's brand new no mushiness or any grinding or sqeaking.

    I would keep taking them back until I was 100% satisfied with my purchase.

    Yeah it comes down to a matter of preference on this issue. If you are not satisfied bring it back or get a refund and maybe purchase the controller elsewhere.

    If things like that bother you then yes, you should return it. It's going to be even more upsetting when other parts break and the controller is a paperweight after 4 months, so just save yourself the headache.

    What error code are you receiving when you try to run the games? (Is strange that the issue happens even with a physical copy)

    Which one do you have?
