Elite Controller 2 wont work with turtle beach adapter

My Elite Controller 2 wont work with the turtle beach elite pro tactical adapter for my headphone works in the headphone jack but not the Expansion
port. when i hold it in a certain place it works but with horribly distorted noise like it not reaching the port fully or the port not working properly. but the adapter works fine in my old elite controller 1 so is definitely the new controller not the adapter
that not working with it. and the A button a bit sticky and not work with a tap has to be pushed down fully to register it. want to know has anyone else had the problem with the adapter or is it just a one off as i know people have had problems with the A
button. i have contacted microsoft got it to a repair or replacement when i send it off but will not be using my new £160 controller now for over 2 weeks thanks microsoft.

Is anyone's Turtle Beach adapter working now? My adapter stopped working with my Elite controller and my standard Series X controller. I'm pretty concerned.

well i received my new replacement controller and can say it was faulty the first one as the new replacement works with the turtle beach adapter and A button is better on new one. so good for anyone to know the adapter is compatible with the elite 2 controller.

I used Astro’s and turtle beaches with and without the adapter I switched from an elite controller to a regular one and also switched from batteries to a wire and nothing works.

that is the thing i can get it to work but i have to push down the adapter to get it to work but if i let go it stops or makes static noise like it not in the port properly so i can't hold the adapter and use controller at same time. i have emailed turtle
beach to see what they say and i got a reply saying The chat adapters we make are compatible with all versions of the Xbox One controllers manufactured by Microsoft. With that said, we cannot guarantee compatibility with
third-party (ie. non-Microsoft) controllers or modded controllers so it is not the adapter that is not working if that helps in future to someone. and i have sent my controller back for a replacement i just wanted to know if anyone else had the same
problem or if it was just me.

it does work with it as i can get it to work if i push down on the adapter but if i let go would cut off again. it like if a laptop charging port bit broken and have to put it in certain spot for it to work but on this i have to be holding the adapter
at the right place and can't use controller if holding it. i put it here to see if anyone else has this problem or it is just a faulty port one i got as can't expect millions of them to work spot on when launched. some will have problems but this on i having
i not seen on the forms yet. am guessing the port is faulty or or to far back to fully go in the port.
