    Elite Controller 2 warranty


    It says once the non functioning unit is received it will be replaced with a similar device; is the controller new or refurbished? My LB is temperamental and the left stick is drifting quite badly so looking to get it replaced. I had issues with a refurbished
    Xbox I got in exchange a while back so I'm apprehensive about getting a refurbished elite controller when it cost so much. (I have no idea which category this fits under)

    They recently extended the warranty for elite 2 to one year. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/elite-controller-series-2-warranty . maybe this will help

    Why doesnt Microsoft make their warranty as a 1 year or however long you bought and then 1 repair after that time period.

    Its 90 days after the free repair or the remainder of the warranty whichever is longer that's pretty standard

    At the cost of controllers nowadays you could buy one new unless you are talking about elites

    And controller warranty is 1 year from the date of purchase

    And this is why you buy extended warranty

    There is no 3 years on controllers

    Elites have 2 year warranties fyi

    Controllers come with a 90 day warranty, except the Elite 2 which is one year.
