Elite controller 2 disconnecting

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your Elite 2 controller :/ Here's some questions/things you can try that might tell us more (totally understand that you probably can't try all of them):

1. Have you tried any other controllers with your Xbox and do they ever exhibit this issue (disconnecting while wireless)?
2. Does your Elite 2 controller have the same issue (disconnecting while on wireless) on other Xboxes?
3. Have you tried a hard reset on your Xbox just to rule that out?
4. Have you tried removing the batteries from the Elite 2 controller while disconnected from the cord? (like controller hard reset)
5. Have you checked to make sure the battery are seated firmly in the controller and that the back plate fits snugly?
6. Have you tried syncing your Elite 2 controller to another Xbox, and then re-syncing it back to your own Xbox?

Hopefully this will help us determine if it's your controller or Xbox that is causing the problem!

Its not an issue with the router. Its an issue with the XBox One console communications to the controllers. I've got multiple controller and have the same problem on the. Its infuriating to be playing a game only to have the controllers drop connection
to the system and have to hard power cycle the entire console to get the controllers to start working again.

Microsoft has not answered any of these problems posted by users. They just lock the threads or offer suggestions that don't fix it.

Ive been having the same issues with the new controllers that use Bluetooth to connect. I notice more issues when im running/connecting multiple bluetooth devices. But overall the disconnecting happens at random times. Ive just got into the habit of plunging
the controller in whenever i play online multiplayer games. This has happened with the series 1 and 2 elites and the newer generic controllers.

Use the warranty. Get a new one and check if same issue as that seems odd especially if router is a way off
