    So like the title says.

    1st the trigger issue. I noticed when playing forza when I would turn the brake lights would come on. I hooked the controller up to pc and noticed with the trigger lock on 1 , the left trigger would would activate up to 2%, when the lock is on 2 , the % jumped to 6 and at 3 the trigger was stuck qt 100%. I'm currently taking it apart to see if I see anything. So far I do notice some white dryish buildup around a lot of connections. I haven't spilled anything on the controller so I don't know what this is. I have taken apart several other elite 2 to replace the rb switch and haven't seen this before.

    Now I set mapping previously on the paddles. I removed all the profiles associated with the controller and I noticed even under default profile now when testing the buttons they still show up as mapped. Any ideas with this?

    Just cleaned everything out real good, reflowed the solder near the thumbstick areas with hot air Station just incase. Problem solved.

    after you place the soflam, you can activate it anywhere on the map by selecting it then using left trigger, right trigger for 2x zoom.

    Elite Controller trigger setup

    Responding to this in case anyone else has the same problem in future.

    After talking with support on Twitter, we established that the trigger settings were saving for each profile, but there's a bug which makes it difficult to see what is going on.

    For example, if I made a Config1, and a Config2, and set up custom trigger settings for Config 1, then editing Config2 triggers would show the settings for Config1, including the Config1 name in the top left of the screen. Even if I delete Config1, then
    the Config1 name and settings still appear on the Config2 trigger screen.

    So in summary, it is a display bug which makes it unclear as to whether or not each profile has saved trigger settings correctly.

    make sure that you not only map the config but assign it to a slot and that you are on that slot as active. I have the new elite series 2 and i map the left stick down to the left rear paddle; works fine.
