Elite 2 custom sensitivity issue

I have tinkered around with the custom sensitivity in the accessories app, and after doing that my controller has really strong up and down drift on its Y-Axis. The drift is really strong and follows the instant response curve, even though I turned it off and returned to the standard curve. This new drift is unlike any others I have seen and has only appeared when I activated the settings in the app. Resetting the controller/settings has not helped

This drift doesn’t only apply when the stick is resting, it also applies while I’m aiming.

Usually I would assume this is a hardware problem but it appeared completely parallel to me changing the settings so I don’t think that’s the case. Any help or ideas?

I have an Elite 2 and love it. I wanted it mainly for the hair triggers, swappable thumbsticks and custom sensitivity.

Not really used the paddles yet.

I do agree that sensitivity should be an option on controllers. Now with the elite 2 and the tension control system this should be addressed. To be honest this is not really much of an issue for me as I find that most games have sensitivity settings built
in to the game itself.

There are models of controls such as the elite 1 and 2, which allow you to change the sensitivity of the joysticks

Thanks, although the video is from more than a year ago - around the time of release of the controller. Also, the Accessories App updated to the latest version when I first plugged in the Elite Controller. I only see the presets, with no function to customize
curves from scratch.

If you are referring to the Trigger sensitivity, you can can customize the sensitivity of your triggers by adjusting their maximum and minimum ranges.

To customize the triggers, you can use the hair-trigger mechanical switch on your controller or with the Trigger sensitivity section in the app.

Depending on the game you play, these settings will have different responses. One way to test your settings is to set Slot 1 to
Default and Slot 2 to your customized setting.
