elite 2 core A B X Y buttons missing clicks

There is no lights on the a,b,x,y buttons on the Elite controller. The only light is the Xbox button, when you turn the console on.

After you pick you fighters for controller 1 and 2 you can input the Kombat Kodes at the versus loading screen.

Controller 1 buttons X, Y, B are the first three spots and controller 2 buttons X, Y, B are the last three spots

I have an issue after i use the Accessoires App and the Elite Controller. The A, B ,X and Y Button doesn´t work anymore but the Stick works fine. Is there a way to reset the mapping on the Controller. I can´t get in the App without the A Button?

I know you can change the dead zones and I'm pretty sure the joystick sensitivity on the Elite Controller (series 1 and 2) through the Xbox accessories app. Although I'm not sure about the standard controller, and I don't know why you would want to change
the sensitivity of the 'A', 'B', 'X', and 'Y' buttons, if it was a thing, I could see people reducing the sensitivity of the 'A' and 'B' buttons and then losing functionality as the buttons wear out, and not be able to change it back.

Hmmm ok. I wonder what is causing the issue though. I had the same experience. All three controllers had no issues with input on B, X, or Y, but the A button was completely hit or miss.
