Elite 2 Controller Bluetooth conflict causes crash

Super excited to get my new elite 2 but is isn't getting used. I had a problem of uncontrolled movement and then freeze, glitchy sound while playing Call of Duty MW remastered and then it kicks me out of the game and the game no longer recognizes the controller
but the computer does and can till go though other menus and such. I went to the local Microsoft store and played with out an issue when I got home it started again and I realized while at the store I did not have a headset, I was just using the speakers
in the laptop. Sure enough disconnect the Bluetooth headset and the problem goes away. I can play with my other controllers and the headset just fine it is only the Elite 2 I am having an issue with. 50 miles back to the Microsoft store and show them the
problem 1 minute in it crashes. They give me a new one, same problem.

Because I can play with other Wireless Controllers and I have used Turtle Beach Headphones and Bose without issue it is hard for me to think it is the game. All drivers on the laptop are current, Elite Contoller was updated.

It has to be the Controller having the issue. Either way for me it isn't usable.

Is anybody else having a similar issue.

There seems to be a few issues. With bluetooth and the thumb sticks .

Have you reached out to Microsoft to tell them . It's a expensive bit of kit not to be working right 👍

Yes i have. They dent the problem saying it is a game issue. If it is unsupported by the most popular games same issue it doesnt work.

i showed microsoft the gave me a new one same problem.

they tell me to ply with it plugges in. I dont want to rearrange my living room and sit so close to a 65in tv. Stupid solution for a wireless device.

i have till dec 2 to return it.

The first gen elite controller does not have Bluetooth as ti was not that popular when it came out. The second gen elite wireless 2 has Bluetooth in it.

the elite controller series 2 has Bluetooth compatibility and is therefore compatible with windows 10 too. the first release of the elite controller was before xbox was integrated into windows 10, therefore there was no need at the time for Bluetooth.

The elite series one controller never had Bluetooth so you would've received exactly what you ordered if you need Bluetooth you need a new edition standard controller or an elite series 2
