    Elite 2 controller audio goes out very often


    Between time periods, game switching, xbox restarts. Fix requires putting controller on charging dock, powercycle, take off dock. Can hear people again on my $180 controller with $60 geek squad protection. Did i purchase a faulty controller? Im afraid if i did to fix this issue i will have to pay $60 dollars for a swap and renewed protection for a brand new controller.

    On the Accessories app when I select Audio the levels have been altered. As i said to get decent audio from my headphones i need to have the controller audio and in game controller audio set to 100%. This suggests either an issue with the headphones [where
    there was none before with regular xbox one controllers] or something with how the elite 2 handles audio. Can it be anything else?

    Yeah I would look into getting the Elite controller, waiting for the Elite 2, or even looking at the Razor Wolverine controller which has some very good reviews. There are plenty of controllers for hardcore gamers so don't be afraid to try them out and experiment
    to find your best one.

    [SOLVED]: Audio from xbox stopped going to my headset. How do I fix it?

    My headset goes straight to the Xbox and I use the Elite Controller 2. The controller has no batteries to change. I was able to fix it by switching to the beta program.

    Hey everyone,

    Audio worked out of the box for me. A USB Audio Device appeared when I plugged the Stereo Headset adaptor into the controller AND plugged headphones into the adaptor.

    This is using a standard Xbox One controller (i.e. not an elite) via the wireless adaptor with v20.24.34.491 drivers.
