Eliminating The Loud Clicking Noise The Xbox Controller Buttons Produce

Good evening, Xbox Forum and Microsoft,

With the creation of future controllers and their consoles, could you please remove the loud clicking noise produced by the Xbox controllers from now on. The Xbox One controller is very loud when clicking buttons. Not only can this be a distraction for other
gamers, via headset mic, but it is also annoying to the player and people near the player. Fortunately most of the Xbox Elite controller buttons are a little quieter than the original; however, the bumpers were made louder on the Elite for some reason. I truly
hope you make this request a reality, as the noise from the controller is almost enough to make me not want to use the console. Thank you for your time.

Guys, clicking is an indication of a mechanical problem; could be the Blu-Ray, Hard Drive or Fan (not enough information to say which at the moment).

In any event, no amount of waiting on the phone is going to fix it, and it may be an indicator of a serious problem - take/send the unit back to where you bought it from and get a replacement. It might sound a bit drastic, cold or harsh to say so, but that
really is the best thing you can do now rather than delaying and having to do it later IMO.

If you do not like the noise it makes, then you can make a post on the
xboxideas.uservoice.com website & ask to have them make it quieter. You never know, they might even create one with less noise.

 

I did, they did not approve the request, or the system failed to show me where they redirected it to. I kept my comment professional, so I can only speculate on why it would have been denied. Thank you for the suggestion though!
