Elephant fight bugged

in the quest with Caesar on the chariot I do not have arrows to use and when the elephant makes an appearance it cannot be slowed. Caught in an endless loop. Stuck with only one spear use as well. Ive seen this posted on other forums. No fix seems available,
not going to restart after 50 hours gameplay. Anbody know how to progress?

I got close to the platinum (bought it on my PS4) but the elephant fights were so bad I gave up.

People who are complaining about the sawed off

it's a sawnoff elephant gun, it should be powerful.

just in case you didn't know, Gears of War uses elephant guns....these aren't your normal 12GA shotguns.. these are 8 Gauge... and from 8 to 2 is what you use for hunting elephants.. so unless you think the gears and locust should be tougher than elephants,
the shotguns should be powerful.

As you progress arrows are dropped and appear on the floor same as loot does. -also before you enter where the elephant is there is an ammo rack outside for you to fill your arrows

i think i figured it out. i repeated the checkpoint over and over but on the last one i got it. all i did was chase her as fast as i could and get to the building that you first fight her as fast as you can as soon as she jumps up. then i knocked her shield
and 1-shot halved her life with the alien rocket launcher and she started to jump and run again.

I still have this issue. Im so glad Volition is too busy with DLC than to path their mistakes.
