    So my housemate is saying that it costs an extra £35 a month to run my xbox one, I was just wondering if he's just wanting to get more money out of me or not, I tend to use it quite a lot, usually when I get home from work for about 6 hours a day, any

    it is actually about £45 per YEAR to run the Xbox and about £36 for the PS4 per YEAR. this does not include the cost of the tv/monitor being on, other lights being on etc etc.

    Hello that seems a bit much. I remember growing up and my mom used to try to always tell me that the game was making the bill high so I couldnt play. As an adult I found that out to be VERY false as I play almost 24/7 sometimes. With a console for myslef
    and my son, its ALWAYS on somewhere even if noone is playing it.
