Electrical Problems

Hi,

I brought my Xbox 360 to Italy with me for vacation, and i plugged it in and let ir run for 15 minutes and then the power transformer started to smell like an electrical fire. Dose anyone know what would have caused this problem... I am from the US so it
is a US xbox 360...

my xbox keeps disconnecting me from my wireless network

could be interference from another electrical device,i'd change frequency of your router,move router to another location,turn off all non essential devices,cordless phones have a habbit of causing problems,clear xbox cache as well

 

Hi, no doubt your power supply is a 110v model, Italy uses 230v so you're power supply got fried I'm afraid. You will need to purchase a power supply of a suitable voltage for the region you're in and hope your console didn't also get damaged during the
over voltage incident.
