Buy the game and then pay two subscriptions to play it. That's gotta be a new level of tragic. Oh and it will definitely go free to play at some point. It's not a matter of if it's a matter of when.

 

wow on ps4 u dont need playstation plus to play eso but u need xbl gold to play eso how freaking lame were totally getting ripped off thats very upsetting to hear

You don't need PS+, and peeps in here act like they don't already have an xbl sub. It's only an additional cost if you don't already have it. I'm seeing lots of gold names though.

 

never played ps3/ps4 im a xbl player didnt really think there was a difference in the subs

 

and no thx on buying eso until its free to play not paying a double sub

 

thats why i posted this that im not touching eso and hope others will follow so then maybe the fee will get dropped and im pretty sure eso will eat alot of memory on the console

I have always been a big MS Xbox fan. I have purchased multiple of previous consoles and a new xbox one. I purchased the 360 just to play morrowind/oblivian. This BS move to charge monthly fee for ESO is just about the final straw for me. I'm sure MS will
blame ESO and vise-versa. MMO monthly fees are on there way out (see Star Wars and WOW). I guess i might not mind this as much if I had other option on XBOX ONE. MS is encouraging/supporting everything being online play (see titanfall and ESO). While MS said
they wont force the new console to be online, the reality is they knew most of the games were online only. AC4 is the only decent game that can be played offline. I guess you could add Ghost and Battlefield 4 to that list of good games...but all those games
are avail on 360...so what is the real benefit of xbox one...online only games? Again, I have always been a big MS console fan but I think I have had just about enough. We used to get lots choices and entertainment value with MS gaming consoles. Now all the
game makers and console makers are only about making money. Its Not about keeping me as a customer for tomorrow, its about milking me dry today for all they can.

Disappointed and lost customer

 

I'm likely gonna get ESO for XB1 just out of curiosity as I've tried MMO's on PC and love the community concept I just can't stand gaming with a keyboard. I know it's better and more precise but I personally don't like it. I look at it this way.... the cost
of the game itself is about as much as a night out and the $15 fee I can quit paying if the game sucks. So at worst I might drop $100 for my curiosity. If I like the game $15 a month is worth it and i'd be paying that if I played it on this PC so what's the
difference really? I'm always gonna keep my gold. While $15 isn't gonna break anyone it would be nice if it were more like $8 to $10 for console players since were locked out from the bulk of players...Yea I know. It wouldn't be fair to our PC brothers. It
sucks that we can't play with PS4 or PC guys. I guess ESO on consoles is just a let's wait and see what happens kinda thing.

 

its just the fact we already paying a sub then just to pay another sub to play a game online its pointless

 

I'd have no issue with a sun on top of a sub if we could play with PS4 and PC guys as it would be truly a 3rd party thing for everyone but since we're all gonna be locked in with just xbl players our gold should cover it. So I agree to a point.

 

and dont forget all that space its gona take to install the game im already down to 250gb im my xbox 1 plus future games to come out wont leave much room
