Elder scrolls online won't open

I just reinstalled the game disc and when I went to open the game it says it'll take just a second and then it brings up another screen that says I need to install an update for my console however my console is already fully updated. It brings up the error
code (0x80080204) I already checked this error code out and it basically says that I have to update my OS however I'm already updated to the most current OS I've already factory reset as I was instructed to but that did not work as well

I am having this same issue. I am part of the xbox insiders program. Do you think this has anything to do with the issue

I was told to reset my console keeping my saved game data redoing my operating system and no it only happens to this game I've had no problems with other games

You may need to uninstall then clear local saved games before installing again.
