Why'd it have to be Molag Bal!!!! My favourite character (Daedric Prince) in all Elder Scrolls lore - Xbox Games, News & Reviews | GamesRadar+

I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to resist this : (

In fact, sod it! I can't resist and will be pre-ordering as soon as I can - Knew this was gonna happen dammit!

EDIT - Just to add, i'm referring to the Imperial Edition

The Elder Scrolls Online on PS4

No news on Xbox ONE yet but a "PlayStation Plus membership is not required to play The Elder Scrolls Online. PS4 players will only be required to pay the same monthly subscription associated with The Elder Scrolls Online that PC and Mac users will pay—nothing
more". Microsoft are under pressure to match Sony on this now.

Awesome cinematic. Probably not representative of the game though:

Anyone feel like playing Oblivion all of a sudden? lol

I'd be more annoyed if that statement would be for both consoles generally. Most people have Xbox Live Gold, its a joke you have to pay again after Gold. But it is really unfair that you dont need PS+. I will buy it play if for a few months if im addicted
ill keep it if not ill stop it. Im hoping they do 12 month codes for a subsidized price.

Didn't they do a lifetime pass or something like that for Star Trek online? And didn't it go F2P really quickly?

    [/quote]

STO lasted 19 months before they dropped the bomb shell of going F2P, your looking at one of the mugs that bought a lifetime pass at it's launch.

    .

But i suspect this one will also go F2P once it's been out a year or so, best wait, and if it does it seems the PS4 users wil get the best of both worlds, for free, assuming it lasts a year on the sub model.

Look Microsoft has always had a simply but brilliant service with Xbox Live. You pay for it, but it usually works and connects you to online gaming. It allows for Microsoft to develop really solid servers and hire people like E to be at the launch of titles
to smooth out server issues. Sony does none of this. Sony simply has a 3rd party they pay to sort out some servers.

So the Elder Scrolls Online is like it suggests online. And other then a few exceptions Gold has always been required for online gaming. Skyrim was offline.

Let's be really honest here - If you are interested in any online gaming on Xbox chances are you ALREADY subscribe to Gold. So the fact that it's a requirement is NOT going to affect many people. I know many console players never seen or played an MMORPG
before, but believe me when I say this, this game is ALWAYS online. It requires internet 100% of the time to work. So if you are spending £429.00 plus £49.00 plus £8.99/month to play Elder Scrolls Online and that's it (not Titanfall or Halo or Call of Duty
or Forza 5) and you then decide Gold membership is just that couple of pounds too much, then you need to rethink if this game is for you.

However if you plan on playing Titanfall or Halo or Call of Duty or Forza 5 and all the other brilliant titles on Xbox One then Gold is required anyway.

    Don't be a Sony puppet.

Yeah, I see Bethesda didn't make the mistake of pairing that computer generated cinematic with actual gameplay footage.

If "TESO" looked like that I'd be falling over myself to pay their £8.99 monthly subscription but it doesn't.

    Adding Micro-Transactions is a mistake.

Buying this game is a mistake unless it's the only thing you're going to play for a year. Otherwise the figures just don't add up.

Plenty of us gamers pay £40 quid for a game that lasts 10 hrs or so then move onto the next game. As I said I will buy this and play it to death for the free month, I doubt very much I will subscribe after that but it will still be a value experience.

That "null" thing usually means it's posted, but the thread has gone on to a new page and it's not refreshed properly.... next time it happens, just refresh the thread and your post should be there. Happens to me on my phone sometimes too.
