Elder scrolls online. Login failed

I will give it another half an hour, then I guess after work tomorrow. All I wanted to do was get past the opening area

Elder Scrolls Online Server Timed Out

Hi I'm located in US-Texas and cannot login to elder scrolls online. It keeps telling me "connection to server timed out. Login failed." I have been trying since 9pm CTRL last night. Anyone have any idea why?

Been tryin to log in for over an hour...smh

 

I had low hopes for the xbox version from the start but this is ridiculous, not to mention enraging.

 

has anyone got on?? I annoyed with this.... if anyone gets any info please post

 

What kills me the most is knowing that there are people playing right now. So goodbye to what I had planned for my perfect character because I know someone has the name I want by now... Same thing happened to me on the launch for PC. Sigh. I never win.

 

OK now i starting to get mad i am all out of MC DONALD'S and low on fruit snacks i don't think i can hold out much more

 

Been trying to log in for an hour and a half now... wish I had better things to do...

 

Im giving it 30 more min (2 hours from release) after that im just going to sleep. I expected crashes from time to time at release, not being unable to play the game at all.

 

Yep it's pretty lame right about now.

 

I am pleasantly amused. Most games of immense size and usage ALWAYS have this issue in the beginning. If you haven't played a game that has this issue in the beginning then you probably haven't been playing online games for very long.

There is, as I would like to name it, an online "Birth". It will enter the scene totally unprepared for the future or the things in the near future, it will be messy and slow.

After some cleaning, getting things all packed together and warmed up, it will start to grow and move forward. You cannot expect anymore from the devs then to follow up the launch with as much cleaning, and growing as possible.

You can prepare for a number, but most of those numbers can be faaaaar more then what you prepare for.

The game is epic on many levels, and though it may take a while to get everything going smoothly, those who do decide to give up will be no more then empty spots helping move forward.

Those who already know this information, wont post at all and just nod at their screen. Those who cry over an hour of playless time, or even a day, really have no patience, and would rather play something horrid, then fine tuned.

I will wait. You QQ noobcakes can leave me an open slot. kthxbb.

This is unacceptable for a launch and when gamers start to accept things like this we only contribute to the rapid decline of the quality of both the products and the industry as a whole.

 

Im at the 1 hour and 30 min mark im out of fruit snacks all hope is lost i only hope this is fixed for soon i will pass on i only hope others don't do the same
